Returns & Refunds Policy
1. Contact Us First
Before sending any return, please contact us to receive a Return Authorisation (RA) number. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

2. General Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:
- Returns must be initiated within 14 days of the delivery date.
- Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition.
- Items must be in their original, unopened packaging with all tags, labels, manuals, and accessories intact.
- A copy of your Kings Workwear invoice or proof of purchase (Order ID) must be included with the return.
- A Return Authorisation (RA) number must be obtained from us before sending the return.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged (except where required by Australian Consumer Law):
- Clearance or sale items marked as final sale.
- Special-order or custom-made items ordered specifically for you.
- Embroidered, screen-printed, or decorated garments with custom branding applied — these are made to order and cannot be restocked.
- Hygiene-sensitive items including but not limited to: PPE gloves, underwear, socks, and respiratory protection (once opened).
- Items that have been worn, washed, used, or had their tags removed.
If a non-returnable item is faulty or does not match its description, your rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply. Please contact us.
4. Change of Mind Returns
We accept change-of-mind returns (wrong size, wrong colour, changed your mind) subject to the following conditions:

The restocking fee and admin fee are disclosed upfront in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. These fees are applied to change-of-mind returns only — not to faulty or incorrectly described items.
5. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrectly Described Items
If your item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or does not match its description, you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. Please follow these steps:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@kingsworkwear.com.au or 08 6243 6530.
- Provide your order number, a description of the fault, and clear photos showing: the fault itself, the product tag/label, and the packaging.
- We will assess the fault and confirm the appropriate remedy with you.
- If the item needs to be returned, we will provide you with a prepaid return label. You will not be charged for return postage on faulty items.
Depending on the nature of the fault, we will offer one of the following remedies:
- Repair of the item
- Replacement with the same or equivalent item
- Full refund to your original payment method
- Store credit (if preferred)
In some cases, we may ask you to ship the item directly to our supplier's warehouse if the order was fulfilled from there. We will provide clear instructions when this applies.
6. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the outcome. If approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days of us receiving and approving the returned item.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method (PayPal, Stripe, credit card, or Afterpay).
- Afterpay refunds are processed through Afterpay and may take additional time depending on Afterpay's processing schedule.
- Store credit refunds are issued immediately upon approval.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
Bank processing times may vary. Please allow an additional 3–5 business days for the refund to appear in your account after we process it.
7. Size & Colour Exchanges
To exchange an item for a different size or colour, please follow these steps:
- Email info@kingsworkwear.com.au with your order number and the size/colour you require. We will confirm availability.
- Once confirmed, ship the original item back to us at your cost (in original condition with tags attached).
- Once we receive and inspect the return, we will dispatch your replacement item.
- The cost of shipping the replacement item back to you is also at your expense. We will provide a payment link or invoice for this amount.
A restocking fee of $20 or 15% (whichever is greater) may apply to exchanges on change-of-mind returns.
8. How to Lodge a Return — Step by Step
- Email info@kingsworkwear.com.au with your order number, reason for return, and photos if applicable.
- Wait for our team to assess your request and issue a Return Authorisation (RA) number and return address.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging and include your proof of purchase and RA number inside the parcel.
- Ship the parcel to the address provided. We recommend using a tracked service, as Kings Workwear is not responsible for returns lost in transit.
- Once received and inspected, we will contact you to confirm the outcome and process your refund, exchange, or store credit.
